Automating A Multi-Location Email Strategy for More Tailored Customer Connections

As a tree, shrub and lawn care provider, SavATree pinpointed an opportunity to equip their marketing team with the proper resources to drive lead generation and meet the evolving demands of their organization’s exponential expansion.

THE CHALLENGE: RESTRICTIVE MARKETING TECHNOLOGY

SavATree was rapidly expanding as a result of multiple acquisitions. This posed a unique set of branding and operational challenges. Namely, SavATree needed the ability to create and efficiently design co-branded emails to accurately represent their legal entities and brands. SaveATree also recognized the need to deliver more personalized content within their email nurturing campaigns to each SavATree location. Their previous email platform was inflexible and the HTML-only functionality required that a developer resource be available to make changes to email templates.

THE PROCESS: SALESFORCE MARKETING CLOUD IMPLEMENTATION

Canpango conducted an operational deep-dive to help SavATree marketers uncover their unique needs and understand their desired outcome. After working together to identify and establish benchmarks for SavATree’s short and long-term goals, the Canpango team developed a path-forward to deliver highly-tailored email campaigns using Marketing Cloud’s Content Builder — a Salesforce app that supports the day-to-day use of dynamic content and data segmentation.

THE RESULTS: MARKETING THAT SCALES AS THE BUSINESS GROWS

With the project completed, SavATree is now able to leverage streamlined marketing processes to reach SavATree’s current (and future) customers in a more meaningful way, while saving time and resources in the process. The Marketing Cloud org configuration, paired with the new ability to efficiently segment and manage lead data, allows each marketing team member to focus their attention on developing a more comprehensive and sustainable content strategy that drives results.
